The pilot phase of INDUCAS between May 2017 and April 2018 will involve the following:
- A six-week online course, Mentoring in Schools, open to all teachers across Europe, starting on 15 May 2017. The course includes the following topics: strategies for dialogue, tools for observation and reflection, and practical examples of effective mentorship approaches to support new teachers. If you are a mentor in a school, or might be preparing to take on that role, enrol for this course here.
- Online community for newly appointed teachers from Italy, France, Sweden and Romania. Call for new teachers! If you are in your first two years of teaching and based in one of these countries, you can join the online community and get involved! If you know new teachers, you can encourage them to take part. To apply, please fill in this form.
- Online community for mentors from Italy, France, Sweden and Romania who want to improve the support they give to newly appointed teachers and give them the best start in their careers. Call for mentors of new teachers! If you are interested in joining the network for mentors and you are working in one of these countries, please first enrol on the Mentoring in Schools course here. More information about the network will be provided as part of the course.
